About AIthentic Entertainment

AIthentic Entertainment was founded because we want to realize our own material without compromise – with full creative control and a clear vision. We develop and produce our own works and work with selected external partners for the practical execution. This way, we keep creative leadership in-house and assemble the ideal team of specialists for each project.

Our focus is on strong, character-driven stories at the intersection of action, thriller, and technology. We are currently working on the production of our prestige project “Project A.I. Driver” as a feature film, as well as the 2D animated film “Legacy of the 90s,” which serves as a promo short film for our fundraising and/or crowdfunding.

AIthentic Entertainment does not take on third-party assignments; the company exists to develop and produce our own films at an international level.

AIthentic Entertainment - the place where AI meets authentic storytelling.

About the founders

Heike Havermeier and Benjamin Meyer are not only the founders of AIthentic Entertainment, but also the screenwriters behind ‘Project A.I. Driver’ and ‘Legacy of the 90s’. They are a married couple and live in Juelich, near Cologne, Germany.

Benjamin Meyer, born in 1984, grew up in Germany and Romania. He has maintained his passion for American TV series, which he grew up watching, as well as his love for classic cars. In his younger years, he has channeled his creativity into the band "Alu'Regencape," where he co-wrote songs and played the guitar. The band achieved local success in the 2000s.  For about ten years, he has also been regularly seen as an actor in scripted reality TV series for German television. Additionally, he is interested in the relationship between humans and AI. This theme also found its way into his first original screenplay, which came about when he teamed up with Heike Havermeier.

Heike Havermeier, born in 1983, aspired to become a writer from a young age. However, after completing her studies at the University of Münster, she embarked on an academic career as a linguist. After obtaining her M.A. degree, she moved to Sweden and received her doctorate from the University of Gothenburg in 2016. Now back in Germany, she primarily works as a university lecturer in German language. In 2017, Heike's path intersected with language teaching and film production when she contributed to "Nicos Weg" a Deutsche Welle series that focuses on simplified language and language exercises for learners. When she met Benjamin Meyer at the end of 2019, he reignited her interest in scriptwriting with his ideas.
