A computer-phobic ex-cop in witness protection is trying to solve mysteries from his past and has to accept the help of a talking computer car. Can a friendship form between man and machine?

Daniel, a computer-hating former cop, lives a quiet life in witness protection after his pregnant wife was killed in a brutal attack. By chance, Daniel discovers a secret facility hidden in the mountains and encounters CAI—an intelligent computer system with a charismatic personality. Daniel accidentally brings CAI back "to life." Shortly thereafter, mysterious threats and violent attacks force Daniel to take action. He is visited by Conny, the engineer who built CAI in the 1990s, and Daniel reluctantly agrees to work with her and CAI. Conny transfers CAI back into its original "body," a nearly indestructible car chassis, while Daniel and CAI must uncover who or what is behind the attacks on him. They embark on a journey together that leads the two to unexpected new allies and obstacles. Could a friendship develop between the computer-hater and the AI? Together, they overcome deadly challenges and ultimately reveal a shocking conspiracy that binds their fates.
