When her brother takes his own life, a young scientist in the ’90s finds solace in his secret project—and merges it with her AI to carry on her brother’s legacy.

Legacy of the 90´s tells the moving story of Conny White, a brilliant engineer who, after the tragic suicide of her brother William, discovers his secret life’s work: a process for creating nearly indestructible materials, from which William had built an unfinished car chassis.

While pursuing her PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Conny combines William’s chassis with her own AI project. The result is “CAI”—an autonomous supercar with a personality. Supported by her father Kevin and former police officer Malcolm Drake, she forms a team of renegades, dedicated to helping people in need.

But from the very start, the project is overshadowed by loss, guilt, and the ever-present risk of misuse. When Kevin dies and Malcolm withdraws, Conny is forced to shut down CAI and return to her old life. Decades later, she returns to William’s grave to process the true story of CAI and its legacy: the backstory of ‘Project A.I. Driver’!
